NFL Alumni Golf Classic & Caring for Kids Banquet

Champions for Charity for a spectacular day of golf, benefiting the Center for Child Protection on Friday, June 20, at The Hills Country Club. The tournament will feature four-person teams, each captained by a former NFL Player. Teams will compete on the
Signature Course in a scramble format with adjusted handicapping, followed by an alternate shot, sudden death playoff, to win a trip to the 2009 NFL Alumni Super Bowl of Golf. 2008 TEXAS PREMIER FOOTBALL CAMP

Thursday, July 10 & Friday, July 11 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

B.J. Johnson, Sloan Thomas and Roy Williams will once again take the field together, this time to host local youth at a non-contact, skills and fundamentals football camp at LBJ High School Thursday, July 10 and Friday, July 11.

 


 

The two day Texas Premier Football Camp will accommodate approximately 300 campers between the ages of 7 and 18. Led by Richard Hightower, current coach with the Houston Texans and former University of Texas letterman, campers will learn the exact skills, exercises and systems that are used in the NFL from some of the finest professional players in the league including the following University of Texas greats: Michael Huff, Oakland Raiders; Chris Simms, Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Bo Scaife, Tennessee Titans; Michael Griffin, Tennessee Titans; Jonathan Scott, Detroit Lions; Nathan Vasher, Chicago Bears; Derrick Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs; Kasey Studdard, Houston Texans and more. (Guest coaches subject to change.)
