Mustang Miracle
The San Felipe Mustang Golf team of 1957, won the state high school golf championship. It was with little fanfare or recognition when a team of Mexican American golfers, with no formal training, old and inferior equipment, who were forced to practice on a makeshift course, went on to win the ultimate prize.
