Cam Cameron out as OC for the Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens on Monday dismissed offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell.

Cameron's dismissal comes after the Ravens' 31-28 overtime loss to the Redskins on Sunday, their second straight defeat.

Petrino lands new gig at Western Kentucky

Bobby Petrino has agreed to become the next coach at Western Kentucky and will return to college football eight months after he was fired at Arkansas, the Hilltoppers said Monday.

The position at the Bowling Green school became open when Willie Taggart left last week for the same role at South Florida.

RG III doesn't have a torn ACL

The Washington Redskins say Robert Griffin III doesn't have a major knee injury.

Team spokesman Tony Wyllie said Sunday that Griffin underwent an MRI and has a sprained right knee but that "everything is clear" in terms of significant ligament damage.
